Villa Diktamo is one of  two beautiful villas just outside village Vamos in a quiet location with excellent views to the hillsides

below and the sea beyond. The large swimming pool is complemented with lawned gardens filled with flowers and at one side

there is an organic vegetable garden that can be used by the villa residents .

The location of the villa offers several choices of villages that are near for one to visit: Gavalochori, Douliana,

Vamos and in addition, the sandy beaches of Almirida, Kalives and Georgioupolis are only a short drive away.

Kalives is a seaside village, retaining the original character and the local lifestyle. There are several small traditional shops, like butcher, grocer and of course bakeries famous for their excellent cheese and spinach pies (tyropita and spanakopita).
There are several tavernas,by the sea or in the village square, offering fresh cooked traditional food and fresh seafood. There is also a large supermarket, ceramic and jewelry shops and the traditional barrel maker and wine producer that has a well stocked wine shop.
