This outstanding village house has recently been lovingly restored by the two grand children (Nikos and Ariadne) of the original owner. Great care was taken to retain the original character of the house whilst incorporating all modern comforts and conveniences. The ground floor of the house comprises a spacious beautifully furnished living room, a fully equipped kitchen with dining area, a large twin or kingsize bedroom and a shower room.

On the first floor are two more spacious bedrooms,one with its own balcony and one with shaded terrace where there is an outdoor jacuzzi seating 3 persons comfortably, with lovely views to the surrounding countryside. A full size bathroom with jacuzzi bath is also located on this floor. The "avli" (courtyard) of the house is filled with flowers and is complimented with an outdoor dining table and parasol.

Kalives is a seaside village, retaining the original character and the local lifestyle. There are several small traditional shops, like butcher, grocer and of course bakeries famous for their excellent cheese and spinach pies (tyropita and spanakopita).
There are several tavernas,by the sea or in the village square, offering fresh cooked traditional food and fresh seafood. There is also a large supermarket, ceramic and jewelry shops and the traditional barrel maker and wine producer that has a well stocked wine shop.
